The present invention provides an apparatus for generating chlorine disinfectant, comprising a salt water supply part for generating diluted salt water by mixing incoming water in a pipeline for supplying saturated salt water in a specific ratio; a hypochlorite generation part for generating sodium hypochlorite by receiving and electrolyzing the diluted salt water; and a hypochlorite dilution part for generating chlorine disinfectant by receiving the sodium hypochlorite and mixing the incoming water in a required ratio. The salt water supply part comprises a water softener for removing minerals contained in the incoming water; a salt water tank for receiving the softened incoming water, and generating and storing saturated salt; and a soft water tank for storing the softened incoming water to a specific level. The present invention can stably supply good-quality salt water to an electrolyzer via the salt water supply part comprising a water softener for removing minerals contained in the incoming water; a salt water tank for receiving the softened incoming water, and generating and storing saturated salt; and a soft water tank for storing the softened incoming water to a specific level, thereby improving electrolysis efficiency. The saturated salt can be more stably supplied in a massive amount by installing a saturated salt capturing room separately in the salt water tank, thereby improving the operating time and operating efficiency of the disinfectant.
