The present invention relates to a canister for a drill ship and more specifically, to a canister for a drillship which is provided with a drop prevention stopper, wherein the stopper is combined with a rack gear to blocks the movement of the rack gear and prevents the canister from falling. The present invention provides the canister which is provided with a drop prevention stopper; which is mounted inside a trunk prepared on a drillship; which moves vertically along a space formed by the trunk while having a thruster connected thereto; which lifts the thruster up and down; and which comprises a rack gear installed on the canister and extended from both sides of the canister in the vertical direction of the canister to be interlocked with a pinion gear of a drive unit, and the drop prevention stopper disposed near the rack gear and selectively connected to the rack gear. |
