A mobile terminal having a transparency function is provided to output a background screen image to a screen of a mobile terminal continuously during a menu window to thus maximize displaying of user's personality. A background screen image checking unit(140) checks whether a certain background screen image exists at a window screen image region where a window is outputted. When the background screen image is checked, a transparency processing unit(150) processes and outputs the window screen image outputted to the window screen image region such that it is transparent. A transparency adjusting unit(155) adjusts transparency of the window screen image in association with a key input unit(120). |
