PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a suture thread having little variation in pull-out load and having user friendliness.SOLUTION: A suture thread with a needle is formed by boring a stop hole 14 from the base end face 13a of an eyeless suture thread 10 along the longitudinal direction of the eyeless suture needle 10, inserting a suture thread 18 in the stop hole 14, and caulking the same. A caulking amount is applied according to the diameter size of the stop hole 14 of the eyeless suture needle 10, and caulking is performed so that the sectional shape of a caulked part is circular, and the axial length of the caulked part is under the diameter of the eyeless suture needle 10. By this configuration, the suture thread 18 is caused to get out of the eyeless suture needle with a pull-out load of a predetermined range of magnitude, and variation in a pull-out force can be reduced. |
