PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, which forms an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive member by a plurality of light emitting elements, capable of controlling light amounts of the light emitting elements with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus specifies, out of a plurality of reflection surfaces, the reflection surface on which a light beam is incident, stores reference values set to respectively correspond to the plurality of reflection surfaces based on amounts of eccentricity of the plurality of reflection surfaces with respect to a rotation axis, reads out the reference value corresponding to the reflection surface on which the light beam is incident from storage means based on a result of the specification, and controls a light amount of the light beam to be emitted from a light source based on the reference value and a detection signal. |
