PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a balancing weight of an elevator which allows a worker to attach a spacer to a balancing weight frame at a bottom part in a state where the balancing weight is positioned close to the worker's body and also allows the worker to attach the spacer to the balancing weight frame in a stable posture.SOLUTION: A balancing weight 1 of an elevator according to this invention includes a spacer 2 which is provided in a balancing weight frame 20 at a bottom part and is used for adjusting a clearance between the balancing weight 1 and a shock absorber 3. The balancing weight 1 of the elevator includes: an attachment base 4 which is provided at the balancing weight frame 20 so as to rotate around an end part in a horizontal direction; an attachment bolt which attaches the spacer 2 to the attachment base 4; and a fixing bolt which fixes the attachment base 4 to the balancing weight frame 20. |
