PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car guide mechanism that can lift an elevator car while suppressing abnormal noise and vibration for instance.SOLUTION: The car guide mechanism 11 of an elevator 1 comprises guide rails 20, guide shoes 21 and electromagnets 22. The guide rails 20 guide the movement direction of an elevator car 2 of the elevator 1. The guide shoes 21 are provided in the car 2 at intervals from the outer peripheral surfaces 20a of the guide rails 20. The guide shoes 21 comprise a C-shaped portion 26 covering at least one portion of the outer peripheral surfaces 20a of the guide rails 20. The electromagnets 22 are disposed on the guide rails 20. The electromagnets 22 give to the guide shoes 21 repulsive force departing from the guide rails 20 at least in two directions opposite to each other in the circumferential direction of the guide rails 20. |
