The bottle carrier is formed as a planar base plate (1), in which a cut-out (2) is formed. The cut-out is surrounded by a side of the base plate with a side surface, which is extended from the edge of the base plate to cut-out or adjacent cut-outs till the middle of the cut-out. The cut-out has a width, which corresponds to the smallest dimension of a two-dimensional planar section in the plane of the side surface. The width of each cut-out is equal to the dimension of the respective side (3) which delimits the cut-out. The base plate is formed as a rectangular plate with two equal cut-outs.
