<p>Disclosed is a charging station for a portable electronic device. The disclosed charging station comprises: a power supply module which has a plug connectible to a commercial power source, which converts the alternating-current power supplied by the commercial power source into direct-current power having a predetermined voltage, and which has, at the side surface thereof, at least one first socket part for power connection; at least one charging module for a smart pad, which has, at the front and rear/left and right side surfaces thereof, respective second socket parts for power connection, and in the upper portion thereof, a pad-mounting groove for mounting the smart pad, as well as a first protruding charging terminal formed on the pad-mounting groove and inserted into the socket-type charging terminal of the smart pad; at least one charging module for a smartphone, which has, at the front and rear/left and right side surfaces thereof, respective third socket parts for power connection or contact-type input/output terminals for transmitting/receiving signals to/from the power source, and in the upper portion thereof, a phone-mounting groove for mounting the smartphone, as well as a second protruding charging terminal formed on the phone-mounting groove and inserted into the socket-type charging terminal of the smartphone; and a power connector or a contact-type input/output terminal for interconnecting the two socket parts from among the first socket part, second socket part, and third socket part that face each other. The direct-current power is transmitted to the charging module for a smart pad or to the charging module for a smartphone by the power connector or the contact type input/output terminal so as to charge the smart pad mounted in the charging module for a smart pad or the smartphone mounted in the charging module for a smartphone.</p> |
