PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety monitoring system by a plurality of monitor cameras, which makes monitoring in a wide range only by a camera video be efficient, achieves disaster prevention and crime suppression, and can generate statistical information on a flow of people and vehicles as an application of a function.SOLUTION: A safety monitoring system includes: a plurality of sensors arranged to surround a contour of an area of a monitoring object; and a plurality of PTZ cameras for monitoring the area of the monitoring object. When one specified sensor among the plurality of sensors detects a moving object, the main monitoring camera for monitoring the object is previously determined from the plurality of PTZ cameras and zooms up the monitoring object to monitor the object with the previously determined PTZ camera as the main monitoring camera when the plurality of sensors detect the moving object. |
