PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground fault accident protection system which can perform a selective interruption of breakers in duplicate busbars to improve reliability of a power transmission facility, attain cost reduction of the power transmission facility, and slim down the facility.SOLUTION: A ground fault accident protection system comprises: breakers 2a-2i respectively disposed on a plurality of lines which are connected with any busbar of duplicate busbars by switching operation of isolators 1a-1t; first detection means 11a-17a which detect opened/closed states of the breakers 2a-2i; second detection means 11b-17b and 11c-17c which detect opened/closed states of the isolators 1a-1t; ground fault detection relays 3a-3g which detect ground fault of the lines; a communication network 21 which sends or receives information from the first detection means 11a-17a, the second detection means 11b-17b and 11c-17c, and the ground fault detection relays 3a-3g to each other; and accident line selective interruption means 22 including an interruption order setting function and an interruption interval setting function for the respective breakers 2a-2i which performs a selective interruption of the ground fault accident line on the basis of the information sent or received through the communication network 21. |
