摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contrast by reducing the emission of the reflection light of the external light to the outside as much as possible while maintaining the effect of brightening the display.SOLUTION: An injection side surface of a transparent substrate 1 is provided with a circular polarization plate 11. An emission side surface of the transparent substrate 1 is provided with a TFT layer 4, a selective reflection layer 6, a transparent electrode 7, a light-emitting layer 9, and a reflection electrode 10 in this order. The light-emitting layer 9 emits light when current is supplied by the transparent electrode 7 and the reflection electrode 10. The TFT layer 4 is a transparent layer that is structured to include a plurality of electrodes and wires for reflecting light and that has a TFT for supplying current to the transparent electrode. The selective reflection layer 6 reflects just the circular polarization light component that has a predetermined wavelength and revolves in a predetermined direction out of the incident light, and transmits the other components. The circular polarization plate 11 transmits only the circular polarization light component that has transmitted through the selective reflection layer 6 and revolves in the predetermined direction.
