<p>A discharge lamp comprises: a housing including a dielectric part which is formed of a dielectric material and has a light transmission region for transmitting light, and a main body which together with the dielectric part forms a discharge gas sealing space in which discharge gas is sealed; an electron discharge source arranged facing the light transmission region in the discharge gas sealing space; a discharge path limiting member which separates the electron discharge source from the light transmission region in the discharge gas sealing space and has an electron pass-through hole for electrons discharged from the electron discharge source to pass through; and an external electrode which is arranged on the outside of the housing so as to face the electron discharge source with the dielectric part therebetween, and has an opening for the light transmitted through the light transmission region to pass through.</p> |
