PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device in which even when an AF evaluation value does not exhibit an expected change tendency by the effect of an image blur, tracking of a stable focusing position is attained.SOLUTION: A change tendency of blur is detected on the basis of a secular change of a blur amount. If a blur amount is in a stable state on the basis of a change tendency of a detected blur, one of, for example, a hill-climbing operation and a minute driving operation is selected in accordance with a focus detection state so as to perform focus detection. If the blur amount is in a change state of blur in which focus detection can be performed, focus detection is performed only in an operation hard to be affected by the blur, for example, only in a minute driving operation among a plurality of focus detection operations. |
