PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent poor cleaning due to generation of foreign matters with poor fluidity (such as paper powder and crosslinked toner) in a cleaning part, and abnormal images such as photoreceptor filming.SOLUTION: An imaging unit 5 includes: an image carrier 1 that carries and conveys a toner image; a transfer unit 8 that transfers the toner image on the image carrier to a transfer body; and a cleaning member 41 that is arranged on the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the image carrier to remove a toner remaining on the image carrier after the toner image has been transferred. The imaging unit 5 further includes a toner supply unit 45 that supplies toner to an image carrying surface located between the transfer unit and the cleaning member and/or a contact part of the cleaning member and the image carrier. |
