PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire inspection device and a tire inspection method that facilitate determination of an actual position in a tire corresponding to an image, such as an X-ray image, of the inside of the tire where an abnormality is detected in an image in which the structure of the inside of the tire is obtained.SOLUTION: A tire inspection device includes inspection means that images a tire on a tire outer peripheral surface side, facing the tire outer peripheral surface, to inspect a defect state of the inside of the tire. The tire inspection device aligns and displays partial images on a monitor, the partial images obtained by imaging the tire by the inspection means at predetermined intervals in a tire circumferential direction with the inspection means and the tire relatively moving in the tire circumferential direction. The tire inspection device further includes: appearance imaging means for obtaining plural appearance images by imaging the appearance of the tire and the inspection means every time the inspection means images the tire on the tire outer peripheral surface side; and control processing means for selecting an appearance image corresponding to and previously associated with a partial image and displaying the image on the monitor. |
