PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective diagnosis method for bladder cancer by searching new tumor markers of bladder cancer using proteome analysis technology with polyhedral approach to urine, serum and tissues.SOLUTION: The method uses a polypeptide of the following (a) or (b) as a tumor marker to detect bladder cancer cells in a biological sample obtained from a test subject: (a) a polypeptide of a specified amino acid sequence; (b) a polypeptide having substitution, deletion, addition and/or insertion of one or more amino acids in the above specified amino acid sequence, and having an antibody productivity equal to the polypeptide (a) or being reactive with a specific antibody against the polypeptide (a). |
