PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric universal head camera device in which an internal setting information is not overlapped on a video as character information to be displayed in a teletext device incorporated in the universal head camera device during broadcasting even if a request from a controller side is given.SOLUTION: A universal head device includes: a drive section to which a photographing device is connected and panning/tilt-drives the photographing device; a universal head control section which includes a communication section for a control signal, to which a video signal is inputted from the photographing device, which outputs the video signal and collects status information on setting or a state of the universal head device; a character signal generation section for generating a character video signal; a video signal detection section for detecting whether the video signal photographed from the photographing device is inputted or not; and a character superposition section which acquires the character video signal on the status information from the character signal generation section and superposes it on the video signal which is not the photographed video signal in response to the control signal received from the communication section when the video signal detection section determines that the video signal photographed in the photographing device is not inputted, and outputs the signal as the video signal. |
