PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since a latched electromagnetic contactor is not opened only by canceling excitation of a closing coil like another electromagnetic contactor in order to mechanically retaining a conducted state and it is necessary to excite a trip coil for opening, it is necessary to confirm whether the opening operation is being performed surely but it is also necessary to provide a device capable of surely performing and confirming the opening operation even when the latched electromagnetic contactor is installed in a distribution board in dim light or under a condition where the confirmation is difficult.SOLUTION: A latched electromagnetic contactor comprises an opening/closing latch cover in a latch unit, and a manual button or lever for performing an opening operation is performed forcibly by opening the cover. |
