PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle idling stop support device which effectively encourages a driver to manually change from an idling state to an idling stop state.SOLUTION: When a vehicle is at a stop in an idling state, a vehicle idling stop support device: estimates an amount of a substance (such as a reduction amount in COemission or fuel consumption) which quantitatively indicates a hypothetical effect of changing to an idling stop state; and displays a degree of the hypothetical effect of changing to the idling stop state on a display section 60 on the basis of the estimated amount of the substance. Thus, the vehicle idling stop support device can effectively encourage a driver to stop idling. |
