Provided is a pneumatic tire having excellent tire noise performance obtained while the wet performance during running is maintained. A pneumatic tire is configured so that half-tread regions (11a, 11b) on both sides in the widthwise direction of the tire are provided with: a wave-shaped circumferential main groove group including outer circumferential main grooves (13, 15) and an inner circumferential main groove (17); land sections (23, 25); and lug grooves (33), sipes, or lug groove and sipe combinations (37) formed by combining lug grooves (35) and sipes (36). The lug grooves (33, 37) are configured in such a manner that, in the half-tread region (11b) on the first side, wave-shaped crests are connected at both ends of the land section (25) in the widthwise direction of the tire, and in such a manner that, in the half-tread region (11a) on the second side, wave-shaped troughs are connected at both ends of the land section (23) in the widthwise direction of the tire. As a result of this configuration, the first length (L1) of the lug grooves (33) in the extension direction thereof in the half-tread region (11b) on the first side is greater than the second length (L2) of the lug grooves (37) in the extension direction thereof in the half-tread region (11a) on the second side. |
