摘要 PURPOSE: A positive electrode active material is provided to provide extremely high discharging specific capacity and excellent cycle performance by effectively and uniformly coating ferric phosphate lithium with the positive electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode active material includes a ferric phosphate lithium particle and a conductive polymer uniformly coated on the ferric phosphate lithium particle. The ferric phosphate lithium particle has a microdoughnut shape with cohered nanoplate or a reel shape. The average particle diameter of the doughnut shaped particle is 5-15 micron. The average particle diameter of the reel shaped particle is 10-20 micron. The positive electrode includes the positive electrode active material and an adhesive. A lithium secondary battery includes the positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte.
