A menu selectable cooking timer may comprise: a configuration in which a menu is selected by a menu selecting unit according to operation signals of two buttons instructing cooking start and end, and cooking time information including after-boiling cooking time of the menu is measured and connected to the name of menu by a user and is stored in a memory; a configuration in which, if a menu is selected by the menu selecting unit, cooking time information of the selected menu is extracted from the memory and a timer is set and displayed in an LCD display window; and a configuration in which the timer starts to operate by an operation of the cooking start button, and an alarm is generated by a signal outputted when the set time in the timer is up. The menu selectable cooking timer may comprise: a configuration in which cooking time including after-boiling cooking time of various menus is stored in a memory in advance by a manufacturer; a configuration in which, if a menu is selected by a menu selecting unit when cooking, cooking time of the selected menu is extracted from the memory and set in a timer and displayed in an LCD display window; and a configuration in which the timer starts to operate by an operation of a cooking start button and an alarm is outputted by a signal outputted when the set time in the timer is up. |
