COMPOSITION OF QUINONE METHIDE DERIVATIVES AND AMINES FOR CONTROL AND INHIBITION OF POLYMERIZATION OF MONOMERS, AND METHOD OF PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to additive composition for control and inhibition of polymerization of monomers including styrene, wherein the composition consists of: (a) one or more of quinone methide derivatives; and CHARACTERIZED IN THAT the composition further comprises: (b) one or more of tertiary amines, wherein said tertiary amine is selected from a group consisting of: (i) tri isopropanol amine (TIPA), (ii) ?,?,?',?'-Tetrakis (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylene-diamine) (THEED), and (iii) mixture thereof. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to method of preparation thereof and uses thereof, and a method for controlling and inhibiting polymerization of monomers including styrene.
