PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery electrode having excellent and stable performance even when a silicone-based active substance material having a large volume change in charge/discharge cycles is used, and a technique of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In the present invention, a stripe-like active material pattern 121 is formed in such a way that, when the pattern width in an uncharged state at a height H2 which is half a peak height H1 from the surface of a current collector 11 is represented by W, the active material pattern width in a charged state is represented by Wc, and an adjacent pattern interval is represented by S, and (Wc/W) is defined as an expansion coefficient n, then the expression S/W≥n/20 is satisfied, whereby a capacity reduction in expansion/contraction cycles can be restrained. |
