PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable performance of soft switching.SOLUTION: The power conversion apparatus a chopper circuit 1 for soft switching which turns on a main switch 17 after a voltage of a snubber capacitor 22 connected in parallel to the main switch 17 by turning on an auxiliary switch 21, and control means 2 which detects a voltage value of the snubber capacitor 22, generates a switching signal on the basis of the voltage value and outputs the signal to the main switch 17 and the auxiliary switch 21. The control means 2 samples and determines the voltage value of the snubber capacitor 22 at the timing that a fixed period passes after the main switch 17 turns on. |
