PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which suppression of dew condensation slip and suppression of pressure member dirt are compatible.SOLUTION: A fixing device for heating a recording material P, carrying thereon an unfixed toner image, while conveying it with a nip part N so as to perform fixing processing of fixing the unfixed toner image on the recording material, the fixing device being capable of executing: a first mode in which before performing the fixing processing, while rotating a first rotation body 21 and a second rotation body 23, warming-up for warming up the first rotation body and the second rotation body is performed, and during performing the fixing processing, ventilation is performed with a ventilation mechanism 26; and a second mode in which the warming-up is performed for a longer time than that of the first mode, and ventilation is performed during performing the fixing processing. |
