PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is compact and can be manufactured at a low cost, and is capable of reducing noise generated during an image forming operation and a standby time, while suppressing an increase in temperature of the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has toner image forming means for forming a toner image, transfer means for transferring the formed toner image on a recording medium, fixing means for fixing the toner image transferred on the recording medium to the recording medium, driving means for driving at least the toner image forming means, air blowing means for supplying an external air to the fixing means, and control means, which are arranged inside a housing. The air blowing means operates at an operation timing in conjunction with an operation timing of the driving means. |
