PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input unit, a display unit and an electronic device that reduce a possibility that the boundary between a first light shielding layer and a second light shielding layer is visually recognized.SOLUTION: An input unit X1 includes: a substrate 2; a first light shielding layer 6 provided on the substrate 2 so as to correspond to a non-input area E2 and positioned so as to surround an input area E1; a translucent protective layer 10 provided on the substrate 2 so as to correspond to the non-input area E2 and covering the first light shielding layer 6; a second light shielding layer 11 provided on the protective layer 10, positioned so as to surround the input area E1 and having one portion 11a positioned closer to an end surface 2C side of the substrate 2 than the first light shielding layer 6 and a remaining portion 11b overlapping with the first light shielding layer 6 in a plan view; and plural light shielding members 9 provided so as to be covered with the protective layer 10, overlapping with the one portion 11a of the second light shielding layer 11 in a plan view and disposed so as to surround the input area E1 along a first edge portion 6a of the first light shielding layer 6 on the end surface 2C side of the substrate 2. |
