<p>With respect to series-connected cells (Ce1-Ce5), the voltages of the respective cells are equalized by connecting one ends of inductors (L12-L45) to connection points of the cells, connecting the other ends thereof to the other ends of the cells via switch elements (Sw12-Sw54), and moving an electric charge between adjacent cells by on/off control of the switch elements. The series-connected cells are divided into two groups that maintain the order of the series connection, the average voltages of cells in the respective groups are calculated (1-1), the average voltages of the two groups are compared (1-2), and on/off control of the switch elements is performed on the basis of the result of the comparison such that an electric charge is moved from a cell located at the boundary of a group having a high average voltage to an adjacent cell located at the boundary of a group having a low average voltage (1-3).</p> |
