The pyrotechnic taut device has indent portions (5-7) that are arranged on a lateral seal surface (4) of a piston (21). The indent portion (5) is provided with a primary portion (5a) having smaller cross-sectional opening, a secondary portion (5b) having larger cross-sectional opening and a partition wall (5c). The partition wall is arranged between the primary and secondary portions. The partition wall is opened or removed during the taut movement under prevailing pressure conditions.
