The invention relates to an exfoliating and sebo-regulating antimicrobial composition that is water-soluble, which includes a combination of modified diallyl disulphide oxide (ODD-M) and alpha hydroxyethanoic acid (glycolic acid) which acts by killing the bacteria that affect the skin, including bacteria that cause acne, said composition also providing deep-cleaning and exfoliating action, reducing epidermal cohesion to facilitate cell replacement, preventing the occurrence of various forms of acne on the skin, and additionally producing sebo-regulating effects by preventing the blockage of the sebaceous glands.
