A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: forming a first display panel including a first area and a second area; forming a second display panel including the first area and the second area; forming a liquid crystal layer by injecting liquid crystal including a plurality of liquid crystal molecules between the first display panel and the second display panel, after bonding the first display panel and the second display panel; after applying a vertical electric field to the liquid crystal layer, performing a first ultraviolet irradiation process in which the first area is irradiated with ultraviolet rays; and after removing the vertical electric field from the liquid crystal layer, performing a second ultraviolet irradiation process in which the second area is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, wherein the first display panel includes first polymer materials, and the second display panel includes second polymer materials, and wherein the first polymer materials and the second polymer materials positioned in the second area are cured in the second ultraviolet irradiation process to prevent the first polymer materials and the second polymer materials from having pre-tilts. |
