An ice level sensing structure for an icemaker of a refrigerator is provided to form an ice level sensing lever short and to move the same in the vertical direction for minimizing a mounting space thereof, and to sense positions of the ice level sensing lever and an ejector precisely by position sensing parts in various shape, thereby carrying out ice ejecting and sensing operation precisely. An ice level sensing structure for an icemaker of a refrigerator includes ice discharge guide parts(112) mounted at top and front surfaces of an ice making tray(110) and having a slant surface inclined lengthwise, and an ice level sensing lever(140) positioned not to be protruded beyond the front surface of the guide part and contacting or separating from the slant surface under the control of a control part. The control part moves the ice level sensing lever to a lower position for sensing an ice-full level in a predetermined section between ice making operation and ice separating operation, wherein the control part operates the ice level sensing lever to sense the ice level periodically even after the ice-full level sensing. A position sensing part(160) is mounted at a side of a driven gear(133) of an ejector(130) for sensing positions of the ejector and the ice level sensing lever, and has magnets(161) mounted on the driven gear and hall sensors(162) mounted at both sides of the driven gears. |
