摘要 This quantitative determination method for target particles includes: a step for preparing a sample solution containing the target particles and luminescent probes to be bound to the target particles, and binding the target particles and the luminescent probes in the sample solution; (b) a moving step for, with use of an optical system of a confocal microscope or a multiphoton microscope, moving a position of a light detection region of the optical system in the sample solution, and a detection step for, while moving the position of the light detection region of the optical system in the sample solution, detecting light signal emitted from the luminescent probe in the light detection region, and individually detecting the target particle directly or indirectly; and (c) a counting step for counting the number of the target particles detected in the detection step, and a calculation step for, on the basis of a calibration curve that approximates the correlation between the concentration or quantity of the target particles in the sample solution and the number of the target particles, calculating the concentration of the target particles in the sample solution from the number of the target particles counted in the step (b).
