<p>The present invention relates to a product design management system capable of integrally managing data created during designing a product. The present invention provides related CAD documents created while designing a product such as CAD drawings of a product, component information, and provides processes to manage the documents structurally, thereby facilitating data management made during product designing. Also, the product design management system enables a user to search documents related to product development through CAD history management and revision management. When forming information of a product during product designing, the product design management system stores and manages information in each part and directory. When structuring information in part, the product design management system manages information in location and boundary information so that the designing state of each component can be checked in part without selectively displaying the entire product on CAD, which facilitates checking and designing regardless of the specification of the computer system. Also, the present invention can check if there are interference between the parts during designing using boundary information, thereby preventing interference between the parts in advance. This enables a manager to manage the entire process of designing a product. The designing information management method in CAD system is applied to the product design management system.</p> |
