A ski lift adaptor that comprises: a) a first element 1, 2 adapted to be worn by a user around the users leg or lower body (eg waist or hips); and b) a second element adapted to couple to a button of a button drag lift and having the form of a substantially rigid receptacle 4 having a lower, in use, opening to mount over the disc part of a said button for receiving the disc part of the button slotting into the receptacle, the receptacle having a slot 5 for the stem of the button that extends upwardly from a lower edge of the receptacle for guiding the stem upwardly and the disc thereby inwardly into the receptacle so that substantially greater than the upper half of the disc part of the button is held in the receptacle. The receptacle has open sides whereby it has the form of a hook to be able to hook over a T-bar. The receptacle may also function as an auxiliary binding for the snow board. The receptacle can be demounted from the first element and mounted to the board, thereby facilitating the user supporting the board by both feet while on a chairlift. |
