<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick pipe joint without using a lock ball, which can perform connection and separation by applying force in the same direction. <P>SOLUTION: The quick pipe joint includes: a cylindrical joint body 1 to and from which a top end portion of a connection object pipe is inserted and pulled out; a locking piece 2 which is slidably installed on the joint body 1 and radially displaced between an engagement position where it engages with the outer periphery of the top end portion of the connection object pipe and a release position where the engagement is released; a cylindrical piston 3 having a passage 3a and also having a seal portion 3b at the top end, the piston being inserted into the joint body 1 in an airtight state and moved between an installation stop position where the seal portion 3b is pressed in axial L direction with the top end portion of the connecting object pipe and a position where the installation is released; a sleeve 4 having a displacement lock portion 41 which retreats from the top end side of the joint body 1 to displace and lock the locking piece to and at the engagement position; a first spring 5 which biases the cylindrical piston 3 toward the top end of the joint body 1; and a second spring 6 which is interposed between the joint body 1 and the sleeve 4 to bias the sleeve 4 toward the top end of the joint body 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
