PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel reducing looseness in the radial direction and improving shock resistance. SOLUTION: This lens barrel includes: a lens holding frame 203 holding a lens group 102 and having a follower pin 203a; a second moving cam cylinder 209 having a driving pin 209b; a rectilinear guide cylinder 208 having a rectilinear guide groove 208f with which the follower pin 203a engages and a penetrating cam 208e where the driving pin 209b penetrates; and a first moving cam cylinder 207 having a guide groove 207b with which the follower pin 203 engages. Cam engagement parts 208a, 207c enabling rotation of the first moving cam cylinder 207 in the state where they are regulated from moving in the optical axis direction in relative to each other and recessed and projecting fitting parts 208b, 207d ruggedly fitted to each other through a clearance are provided between the rectilinear guide cylinder 208 and the first moving cam cylinder 207, and the cam engagement parts 208a, 207c and the recessed and projecting fitting parts 208b, 207d are disposed along the optical axis direction.
