PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving motor which reduces the manufacturing cost by meeting the requests of thinning of the driving motor in a direction along an axial direction of a rotary shaft, and has waterproofness against flying rainwater together with wind. SOLUTION: In the driving motor 3, a motor interior space 37 is formed by a housing 20 formed in a cylindrical shape, and a flange 21 to block an opening on the lower side of this housing 20. A stator assembly 17, a rotor assembly 19, the other end section in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 12 which has been placed lower than the flange 21 so far, and a control substrate 18, are all contained in this motor interior space 37. Then, a first elastic member 36 is disposed between one end of the axial direction of the rotary shaft 12 and the housing 20, and the other end in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 12, the stator assembly 17, and the rotor assembly 19 are fixed to the flange 21 through a second elastic member 45.
