Polyamino polyalcohol derivatives

A method for producing a polyamino-polyalcohol. The method comprises steps of:
(a) combining an aminoalcohol of formula (I)
with a nitro-diol of formula (II)
to produce a nitro amino diol; and (b) contacting the nitro amino diol with a reducing agent capable of reducing aliphatic nitro groups.
