PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat ray reflecting glass plate capable of suppressing distortion upon bending while maintaining transmission characteristics for electromagnetic waves, and to provide a method for bending the heat ray reflecting glass plate. SOLUTION: The heat ray reflecting glass plate includes a heat ray reflecting film 112 and a frequency selective surface 111 which is adjacent to the heat ray reflecting film 112 on at least one side 114 and which comprises the mesh pattern 130 of the heat ray reflecting film and has a plurality of opening lines 132, both formed on at least one surface of a glass plate.
