PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine in which a protection cover of a capacitor can be simply attached/detached without using a tool and the protection cover can be surely held. SOLUTION: In the vending machine, a compressor, the capacitor and an outside fan configuring a cooling/heating unit and a refrigerating cycle in a store are arranged in a machine room on the bottom of a body cabinet 1, the capacitor is arranged opposite to the front side of the machine room and the protection cover 20 is hung in and attachably/detachably fixed to the front side of the capacitor. Since the protection cover 20 is formed by an elastically deformable member and the protection cover 20 in a bent state is engaged with and fixed to a stepped screw 22 provided in the front side of the capacitor 9, the protection cover 20 can be simply attached/detached without using a tool and the fixed state of the protection cover 20 can be maintained by the restorative force of the protection cover 20.
