The adapter frame two module batteries that are inserted into an adapter frame portion in a battery box (6) of an industrial truck (1). The battery box is arranged between a front axle (3) and a rear axle (4) in the truck. The module batteries in the adapter frame portion are arranged in the battery slot within the battery box. The adapter frame portion is provided with a locking device and connectors for batteries. The module batteries are lithium-ion batteries, lithium-polymer batteries, lithium-titanate batteries, lithium-iron-phosphate or lithium-air batteries.
