PURPOSE: A polymerization reactor for manufacturing a high absorbent resin and a method for manufacturing the high absorbent resin are provided to easily manufacture the high absorbent resin of superior material characteristic by reducing the shear stress or temperature change of a polymer. CONSTITUTION: A polymerization reactor(100) for manufacturing a high absorbent resin includes a polymerization reacting part(110), a monomer composition supporting part, a discharging part(114), a stirring shaft(116), a stirring wing(118), a gel sizing part(120), and a cutting or grinding unit(130). The monomer composition supporting part is formed at one side of the polymerization reacting part and supplies a monomer composition solution containing a monomer, a polymerization initiator, and a solvent. The discharging part is formed at another side of the reactor and discharges a polymer formed from the reacting part. The stirring wing is combined with the stirring shaft. The gel sizing part is directly connected with the discharging part. The cutting or grinding unit cuts or grinds the polymer. |
