发明名称 STITCH-PATTERN CAM ASSEMBLIES FOR SEWING MACHINES
摘要 1,205,383. Sewing machines. SINGER CO. 4 March, 1969 [8 March, 1968], No. 11406/69. Heading D1G. A stitch cam assembly for a zig-zag sewing machine comprises a pair of cams 41, 42 with a single follower 54 one cam 42 having less lobes than the other and being relatively, moveable by a thumbwheel 64 from a position where the lobes are in register to a position where the lobes of one cam are disposed between the lobes of the second cam. A spring catch 70 retains the cams in either of these positions by engagement with one of the slots 78, 79. The. needle bar is driven by a crank 14, is mounted in a pivoted gate 18 which swings about a vertical axis. A torsion spring 55 retains the pitman 24 in engagement with the arm 28 and as the arm 28, 29 is one piece retains the cam follower in contact with the cams 41, 42. The position of pitman end 33 relative to the arm 28 determines the amplitude of the swing and is controlled by a lever 38. The pivot point 30 which controls the field of the swing is moved by a lever 39.
