PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of charging a battery laminate by a control based on an internal pressure. SOLUTION: In the method of charging the battery laminate, a plurality of unit batteries constructed as an alkali system secondary battery are mutually electrically connected and its interior is mutually communicated through a communication member. The measured values of the internal pressure of the battery laminate which are measured by a pressure measuring device are compared with a prescribed value of the internal pressure prepared beforehand, and the electrical charging conditions for charging control are established in order.
