The present invention relates to a vehicle control apparatus using the movement pattern of a mobile device and a vehicle control method using the same, wherein the vehicle control apparatus detects the movement pattern of a mobile device and controls the corresponding specific function of a vehicle. For the purpose, disclosed is the vehicle control apparatus using the movement pattern of a mobile device, comprising a command signal generation device (100) for generating a control command signal for controlling multiple functions realized on a vehicle based on the movement pattern of a mobile device (1) by user gesture; a relay device (200) for receiving a control command signal via a wireless communication protocol, analyzing data packets, converting signals corresponding to the analyzed data packets into wireless communication signals different from the signal via the wireless communication protocol and transmitting the signals; and a control device (300) for controlling the desired function of the vehicle by analyzing the packets of the wireless communication signals different from the signal via the wireless communication protocol and generating a vehicle control signal corresponding to the control command signal.
