The invention relates to a light signaling device including a light source (15), such as a light bulb or light-emitting diodes (LEDs), comprising a male base (14) to be rigidly connected to a complementary female socket of a brake signaling circuit at the rear of a vehicle. The device is characterized in that the male base comprises an electronic MEMS accelerometer (12) providing a signal that is dependent on the measured deceleration, and a microprocessor (13) providing the modulation of the light signal emitted by the light source in accordance with the signal transmitted by the accelerometer.
