摘要 The present invention relates to an azimuth thruster installing method of a semi-submersible drilling unit, which is provided to easily perform the installation work of an azimuth thruster and reduce costs and time which are necessary for works by reducing work limitation conditions including a water level and weather. The azimuth thruster installing method according to the present invention comprises: a step (S110) for closing the lower end part of a thruster room which is formed to penetrate a pontoon structure in an up and down direction; a step (S120) for building an azimuth thruster in the thruster room temporarily after the step (S110); a step (S130) for installing a bucket which provides a space for the installation work of the azimuth thruster right under the thruster room after the step (S120); a step (S140) for discharging water in the bucket and opening the lower end part of the thruster room after the step (S130); a step (S150) for fixing the azimuth thruster built in the thruster room on the pontoon structure after moving the azimuth thruster to an installation position after the step (S140); and a step (S160) for removing the bucket after the step (S150).
